As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, we at the Alameda Education Foundation have much to be thankful for!

All Together Now 2011!

Our second annual fundraiser for music, art and drama on November 10th – All Together Now – really WAS the best party in town! A packed audience danced the night away to awesome music, enjoyed fabulous hors d’oeuvres and wine, and bid on some amazing auction items.

Recycle Woman is a super hero whose alias is Miss Alameda. Recycle Woman made a promise to herself that she would do everything in her power to help save the planet and the people of the world. Her super powers help her accomplish this mission by giving her the ability to fly and show people images of the planet’s condition due to pollution and mistreatment,

Wood Beavers Champions in Middle School Volleyball

Wood Beavers Fell the Competition in Middle School Volleyball Championships

An exciting and competitive middle school co-ed volleyball season came to a close Tuesday when the #1 seeded Wood Middle School Beavers defended challengers to clinch the championship titles in both the A and B divisions. The Middle School Sports program is run by the Alameda Education Foundation.

Wood dominated the B division this year with an undefeated record.
