Bill’s Word: Spring is blooming at the AEF!

Dear Friend,

As we head into Spring, though we could still use rain, I am proud of our many AEF accomplishments so far this school year and of the many upcoming programs ready to bloom.

Just to mention a few:

  • Our Adopt A Classroom goal of 150 teachers receiving a $500 was passed last month with adoptions now totaling 168. That translates into $84,000 into teachers’

Student loan debt now tops $1.2 trillion dollars with 71% of students graduating from college in debt. The average student loan debt is $35,200 per student. What’s worse is that studies show about half of those graduates are shocked at the amount of debt they racked up while in school.
