Overview
With ongoing budget cuts from the State of California, public education is facing more hurdles to providing a strong, vibrant education. Simply put, our children would not be educated adequately without private funding.
Your contributions enable the Alameda Education Foundation to support a well-rounded education, which includes programs in music, art, drama, dance and athletics. In addition, the need for classroom and library support, counseling services, and even support for instructional materials continues to rise while the state continues to cut education funding. Private funds from donors like you make up that difference.
