AEF Volunteer Youth Leaders

Are you interested in becoming a Volunteer Camp Youth Leader?

AEF is looking for Volunteer Youth Leaders for this year’s Summer Camp program. The application process is currently open to all students 15- 17 yrs old. This is a good opportunity to earn volunteer hours while working with camp instructors and children over the summer.

You will gain:

  • Gain leadership skills, demonstrated responsibility and teamwork experience as a camp leader working with young students.
  • Experience a real-world  job application and interview process in a safe environment.
  • Add community service hours for graduation requirements.

AEF strives to match the leader’s areas of interest with related camps if they are available. The 2-week commitment can fit around family vacations and summer jobs. Many of our leaders enjoyed AEF Summer Camps as children and want to support the program.

What does it involve?

Volunteer Youth Leaders will work alongside camp instructors during our summer camp program. You will assist the instructor in providing extra supervision for the camp participants and provide hands-on assistance to the students who may need extra help in completing any activities.

  • A $45 program fee is required if you are accepted to the program.
