After School Enrichment Scholarships
We are proud to offer scholarships for enrichment classes.  Please contact the Enrichment Coordinator for your school site for more information.  Scholarships are based on need and are verified at each site.  One scholarship per class is available.  Eligible families are offered one scholarship per family per session.  A co-payment of $10 or 10% of the class fee, whichever is higher, is due upon approval of the scholarship.

Tommie & Emil Q. Miland Music Fund:  In 2003 Emil Miland, a former student of the Alameda Unified School District and accomplished cellist, set up a scholarship fund with the Alameda Education Foundation in memory of his parents.  His father, Emil Q. Miland, was a former AUSD music teacher and superintendent of music for the district.  Music has been, and continues to be a major influence in the Miland Family and through this scholarship fund, Emil Miland hopes to encourage the same passion in music for graduating seniors by providing a $1,000 scholarships.  To donate towards this scholarship fund, please indicate “AEF-The Miland Fund”.
