Known as "Adventure Learning," this approach combines movement, listening & speaking, music and arts & crafts while challenging students to solve simple challenges – and thus to feel great about what they accomplish
as they learn their new language. A native-speaking instructor trained in Lango's approach will teach the class.

In addition, Every family enrolling for the first time pays a $35 materials fee to defer the cost of its book, CD and flashcards. This

Rhythm Rocks
Classes for Grades k-5
Taught by Alan Hall

In a non-threatening and positive environment we explore world rhythms, fruit rhythms*, rhythm relays,*call and response, drum circle, body percussion, vocal percussion and ensemble playing.

Definitions:
*Rhythm Relays – are based on the relay races of track and field in which the object is to complete the course and not drop the baton. In our case, the "baton" is a rhythm, and the object is to pass it to the next team member without disrupting the groove. This is a rhythmic
strengthening and team building exercise.

*Fruit Rhythms - use the rhythm inherent in the native language of the students to build rhythmic phrases. Through the exploration of certain fruit words, the kids will learn to compose and perform complex rhythms.
