AEF Beneficiary in Alameda Running Festival, Sept. 16-17!
The Alameda Education Foundation (AEF) is a beneficiary of the Saturday 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run/Walk events! These are great events to introduce younger students to the fun of running or to run together as a family. Register at runalameda.com. The Alameda Running Festival is Sept. 16 – 17 at Alameda Point. There will be a Family Fun Run, 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon for everyone to enjoy. This 2-day festival is for all ages and features kids activities, great food, free local beer for participants, and most of all, enjoyment with one of the best running communities in the country.
Not a runner? Then enjoy the festivities while you volunteer. High schoolers and adults are encouraged to volunteer and AEF will receive a donation for each registered volunteer that designates AEF as their beneficiary. High school students may use this towards their community service requirements.
