Dribble, Pass, Shoot!
2025-2026 Boys Basketball Season
AEF offers a Boys Middle School Basketball program in winter each school year. This program is open to students who are enrolled in Alameda Unified and Charter public middle schools (grades 6 - 8). Student-Athletes play for their school team. Please note that Middle School Sports is a competitive league and not everyone who tries out will make the team. Team selections are made in consultation with site administrators with a focus on inclusivity, equity, and considerations of who would most benefit from team participation.

2025-2026 Boys Basketball Championship Results
Congratulations to Boys Basketball Champs the DI Academy of Alameda Olympians & DII ACLC/Nea MambaHawks!
The final buzzer has sounded on the 2026 boys basketball season, and we couldn’t be more proud of our student-athletes. From the very first games, the season was filled with fierce competition, determination, and heart, with players giving their all on the court every time they stepped out to play. It’s been exciting to watch their growth, not only in skill, but in teamwork and overall performance as the season progressed.
Congratulations to all our athletes on a fantastic season! A special shoutout goes to our D1 and D2 League Champions, Academy of Alameda and ACLC/Nea. For the first time since 2019, Academy of Alameda took home the trophy and for the first time ever in program history, ACLC/Nea finished on top! Their success reflects both their hard work and the continued growth of the program. Their achievement is also a testament to the dedication of our partner school sites, whose ongoing outreach ensures more students have the opportunity to participate and thrive.
This year, all AUSD and public charter schools fielded at least one team and all schools were represented in the playoffs. The full schedule and results may be viewed here.
