Thank you so much for the mini grant to purchase hygiene kits for unhoused students and for all your help with the WiFi hotspots (that AEF pays for) as well. These things make a huge difference in the quality of life for our most vulnerable students. I appreciate you, and the work that you do.
We thank you deeply, AEF! You always have our backs and make the process so teacher friendly, timely and professional.
Thank you so much! I truly believe giving students the right tools will lead to their success, and providing a choice in seating and sensory options is one part of that. I look forward to the positive change in my classroom environment as flexible seating arrives, and AEF has made that possible! Again, Thank you, I am beyond grateful.
Thank you very much! Thanks to your mini grant, every student now has an assigned calculator and freedom from the cell phones. I really appreciate it.
Thank you so very much for approving us (for a Mini Grant)!! This is truly exciting!!!! It helps us provide a more equitable opportunity to learn and succeed.
This is great news! Our students will be so pleased to hear it! Our students that cannot afford to rent or buy their own instrument will now be able to play on a school loaner for our first-ever WMS Orchestra.
Thank you! The purchase of 2 color inkjet printers enables students to use Word Art and Print Shop to create unique artifacts as part of our "Do It Yourself" Life Skills curriculum. The students actually learn a skill that can turn into an at-home business!
YAY!!!!! Thank you so much!!! The kids are going to be so excited!!
Wow, thank you so much, AEF! I am beyond appreciative for this funding for my students to replenish broken and missing equipment from some of my units and also purchase new units that will promote teamwork, peer interaction, and turn-taking. Thank you!
Thank you! I am so excited to get started on this project around where my students’ families are from! I just got back some of the family info forms and so far we have 13 countries represented by our class, and still waiting on some more! I cannot wait to put up that world map.
Wahooooooo! This is the best news ever! Thank you, Vicki and AEF, for generously supporting our Deaf and Hard of Hearing team by enabling us to participate in this conference, which is a great opportunity to learn best practices for our field and get the latest updates on technology that can give our students better auditory access.
Wahoo! Thank you for enabling me to create a mobile therapy unit to support my work as a District Counselor, serving youth and families across the district, including those who have been chronically truant with re-engagement counseling, and filling mental health gaps by providing individual and group therapy where it is needed.
I sincerely appreciate AEF’s mini grant that helped to sponsor students from the Encinal Jr. Sr. High School (EJSHS) CTE Radio pathway to attend the College Broadcasters, Inc., conference in October. This year the conference was held in Orlando, Florida, so the students and I had to raise money for airfare, lodging, and registration. Four EJSHS students from my advanced broadcasting class went on the trip and they gained so much from the experience. Christopher Setera is one of the students who attended the conference, and he wrote a thank you note on behalf of his fellow students. I encourage everyone to tune into EJSHS radio station weekday mornings from 7 am – 11 am to hear our talented crew of student broadcasters at encinalradio.com or on the radio at 96.1 FM!
