Our Fall Fundraiser Supporting Students and Teachers!
This is the only event in Alameda dedicated to lifting up students and teachers at every public school across the Island!

Mix and mingle with folks who support Alameda public school students and teachers! Enjoy a BBQ dinner and drinks at one of Alameda’s favorite watering holes - The Rake at Admiral Maltings. Your ticket will include a plate of BBQ or vegan options plus a drink. The Rake offers a selection of premier beers made from their own roasted malt, as well as a selection of wines and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. We’ll be hosting a silent auction featuring unique Alameda oriented items, plus having a raffle to win two (2) vouchers for anywhere Southwest Airlines flies! Bay Area favorite, Ukulenny, will add a special 'Island style' sound to your evening.

Want to really celebrate? Then enter our event raffle for a chance to win two (2) Southwest Airlines vouchers good for anywhere Southwest flies! Raffle tickets are just $10 each. One hundred percent of each raffle ticket sale will support AEF’s Teacher Mini Grant program. The drawing will take place during the Back 2 School BBQ on Sep. 17, 2026. You need not be present to win.
