Our Fall Fundraiser Supporting Students and Teachers!
This is the only event in Alameda dedicated to lifting up students and teachers at every public school across the Island!

WHERE: The Rake @ Admiral Maltings

WHEN: Thursday, September 17, 2026 | 5:30 - 8 PM

TICKETS: $85.00 per person

Mix and mingle with folks who support Alameda public school students and teachers! Enjoy a BBQ dinner and drinks at one of Alameda’s favorite watering holes - The Rake at Admiral Maltings. Your ticket will include a plate of BBQ or vegan options plus a drink. The Rake offers a selection of premier beers made from their own roasted malt, as well as a selection of wines and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. We’ll be hosting a silent auction featuring unique Alameda oriented items, plus having a raffle to win two (2) vouchers for anywhere Southwest Airlines flies! Bay Area favorite, Ukulenny, will add a special 'Island style' sound to your evening.

We will also be offering AUSD staff 'Treat a Teacher' tickets on a first come/first served basis. Details coming soon!

  • All sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges.
  • Certificates or gift cards up for auction may have usability date restrictions.
  • All bidders assume all risks and hazards related to the silent auction and items.
  • Age restrictions may apply on age-restricted items.
  • Winners must make payment prior to receiving their item.
  • Winners must pick up all items the evening of the event.
  • If any item is left unclaimed, it will become the organization's property and cannot be resold.

Enter our event raffle for a chance to win two (2) Southwest Airlines vouchers good for anywhere Southwest flies! Raffle tickets are just $10 each (or 5 for $40). One hundred percent of  raffle ticket sales will support AEF’s Teacher Mini Grant program. The drawing will take place during the Back 2 School BBQ on Sep. 17, 2026. You need not be present to win.

Advance raffle tickets may be purchased from the following locations:
