Books Inc. Alameda welcomes local illustrator Constance Moore to celebrate her illustrated picture book Black: The Many Wonders of My World, with a story time and art activity! Ms. Moore, who is also the art teacher at Maya Lin Elementary school in Alameda, is a featured artist for Alameda Education Foundation’s online Art Changes program, where local artists create videos introducing their work while weaving in stories of inspiration and perspective that reflect the rich diversity of the Bay Area.

Meet our newest AEF Board Member, Grace Caulfield! Grace brings a wealth of experience to the AEF board with a strong background in marketing and resource development in the public sector along with vast experience volunteering in the non-profit arena.
Grace has two children in Alameda public schools and has long appreciated the work AEF does to support educational opportunities for students.
Grace considers herself a life-long learner and looks forward to working with the talents of our board and bringing her skills to the forefront of helping those most in need.
