Congratulations 2026 Champs Lincoln Lions!

AEF’s girls basketball season came to a thrilling conclusion on January 15, 2026 with two exciting championship games! The Lincoln Lions managed to maintain their undefeated season and secure a win for both the DI and DII teams. And the playoffs were equally as exciting leading up to the final game. In the DII playoffs, #3 ranked ACLC/Nea took the win over #2 ranked Wood to guarantee their spot in the championship game. The DI playoffs saw #2 ranked Academy of Alameda take on #3 ranked Wood in a close game with fierce competition on both sides where the Academy of Alameda ultimately came out on top and secured their place in the final match-up against the undefeated Lincoln Lions. A huge congratulations to our champs and to all our student-athletes who left it all out on the court every game, it was a joy to watch you all play this season!
