AEF Online Summer Camps!
One-Week Camps

One-week camps offering a myriad of activities and subjects to keep your students engaged and learning all summer long!
Most of camps are for students in grades K – 8, with a special writing class just for students in grades 9 – 11 (grade level is as of the 2019-2020 school year).

Our online camps offer the quality programming you’ve come to expect from AEF:

Classes include: Art, Cooking, Crafts, Coding, STEM, Health & Fitness, Spanish, Guitar, Rock Band, Performing Arts, Photography, Writing, and so much more! For our high schoolers, we offer a fun “Who Are You?” writing camp to help with those college apps.

For current registrants only:
If you already registered for an AEF in-person summer camp and you decide to enroll in one or more of our virtual camps, we will transfer your existing registration fees to the new camp and refund any difference. If you decide our virtual camps are not for you, we will offer you a 100% refund.
Before registering, please be sure to check out our general policies and procedures, below:
1) Participant Behavior/Parental Supervision
Students are expected to conduct themselves during online classes according to the AUSD student rules.
These rules are outlined in the Student/Parent Handbook provided by AUSD. Any student that fails to follow the student rules or has excessive behavioral issues that continually disrupt other participants will be removed from participation in the online summer camp. No refund will be issued for such removal.
Parents are expected to supervise younger students during the online camps to ensure they remain engaged. Some students may require assistance with some activities from time to time.
2) Accommodating Students with Special Needs
If a student has an assistant/para-professional during the school day, they must also have an assistant to work with them during the online camp.
3) Camp Refund/Transfer Policies
In-Person Camp Refunds:
If you wish to receive a refund for the in-person summer camp program that was due to start on June 22, 2020 you may send an email starting on May 27 to enrichment@alamedaeducation.org. Please provide your full name, your student’s name and the camp(s) you are requesting a refund for.
Online camp Refund Policies:
- If a camp is canceled due to low enrollment, participants will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations initiated by the participant made 21 days or more before the start of the camp have a $50 cancellation fee PER CAMP.
- Cancellations initiated by the participant made between 15-20 days before the camp start date have a 50% cancellation fee PER CAMP.
- No refunds are given within 14 days of the camp start date.
- Transfer requests must be made a minimum of 14 days prior to the first day of camp and have a $20 processing fee per transfer. Please note that if you are transferring from one of our canceled “in-person” camps to an online camp there is no transfer fee.
- All cancellation and transfer requests must be made in writing to: Enrichment@AlamedaEducation.org.
- Late enrollment will be accepted as space allows. There is a $20 processing fee per camp for late registrations.
- lease note there are no refunds if you register your child in an online camp and you do not have the necessary equipment for your child to participate. All relevant details regarding equipment needed is specified in the camp description.
4) Photos used for Website/Class Publicity
Photos taken during camps may be published on our website, Facebook page, marketing materials and/or flyers.
PLEASE KEEP A COPY OF YOUR REGISTRATION RECEIPT. THERE IS A $20 FEE TO PROVIDE A COPY.
