Irene Juarez O’Connell describes her Santa Cruz mural. Using math, Irene was able to transform watercolors into a huge 6-paneled mural. Helped by Beach Flats residents, Irene illustrates local history from the Native population to the present day. Then, students will learn how to make colorful Mexican Alebrijes using a pencil and markers.
