Thank you for making AEF's 3rd Annual Back 2 School BBQ even more fun and successful!

We had such a good time on Thursday, Sep. 18, 2025 at our Back 2 School BBQ raising money for teacher grants and celebrating our incredible educators! Thank you to The Rake at Admiral Maltings for your hospitality and Ukulenny for providing such great music once again! Thank you Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft, Alameda County Superintendent Alysse Castro, Alameda Councilmember Tracy Jensen, and AUSD Community Affairs Spokesperson Susan Davis for your kind words. We were also thrilled to introduce Jeff Leiden who spoke about the origin story of AEF. Thank you to our sponsors for making this all possible. Thank you to our incredible AEF Board and Staff for all your hard work. Most of all, thank you to our educators who take care of our students every day.

Funds from our silent auction and raffle ticket sales go to support Alameda public school students and teachers! Plus we had the support of all the generous sponsors listed below. We were also happy to see many of AUSD's finest educators, who were treated to a fun night out by our generous donors via our Treat an Educator tickets!

All proceeds from this event benefit AEF programs including:

• Teacher Mini Grants
• Backpacks and supplies for low-income students
• Middle School Sports league
• Mental Health Care support
• After School Enrichment Classes and Summer Camps
• Visual arts programs
