AEF Celebrates Education!

Salute to Education – April 13, 2012

The next Salute to Education will be held on April 13, 2012 at the Rock Wall Wine Company.

 

Thank you to to Alameda Patch for creating this video on our Salute to Education celebration held Friday, April 29, 2011 at Rockwall Winery.

Each spring the Alameda Education Foundation celebrates and honors the vital work that is done in our schools through our Salute to Education event.

Salute to Education recognizes the teachers, staff and volunteers who make Alameda schools so special, as well as community volunteers and local businesses who support our schools. In addition, Salute to Education showcases innovative school programs that serve Alameda students.

Salute to Education provides an opportunity for the schools and the greater community to come together in a festive, relaxed setting to share best practices, network and socialize. Enjoy wonderful  local wine, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, and fabulous music by the Alameda High  School jazz band.  All with the beautiful backdrop of the San Francisco  skyline.
