Art Changes Student Exhibition: This is My Alameda Story WHEN:...AEF's Inaugural Poetry Slam at Books Inc. in Alameda was a hit! The talented Shanti Lair Croom started us off with her poem, 'Living Poetically', and 46 student poems were read. Students represented Paden, Maya Lin, Love, Lincoln, Encinal, and Alameda High schools. So much talent, depth, and creativity! Thanks to AEF's Pam Riley Chang for leading this.
