4th of July Family Festival & Summer Beats Concerts

Alameda South Shore Center will be hosting summer concerts this summer at the center court in front of Trabocco’s.  The concerts begin with the 4th of July Family Festival from 3:00 – 5:00 PM with renowned local Beatles tribute band, The Sun Kings.  The festival includes face painting, glitter tattoos, a stilts performer, and free patriotic sunglasses for kids.

Other concerts include:

Saturday, July 13 (2 – 4 pm), East Bay Mudd, a powerhouse tribute to classic Soul and R&B

Saturday, July 20 (2 – 4 pm), The Best Intentions featuring 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s Motown

Saturday, July 27 (2 – 4 pm), Pure Ecstasy, a mix of Motown, R&B, Soul, and top 40

Alameda Education Foundation will be selling beer and wine to support our annual school supply drive for Alameda low-income students.  The goal is to support 900 students with quality new school supplies and backpacks this year.
