    • Adherence to applicable COVID and/or other health or safety protocols.
    • Recognition that social emotional health can be supported through a positive sports environment.
  2. Focus on Equity
    • When applicable, team selection should be made in consultation with site administrators with consideration of who would most benefit from team participation.
    • Inclusivity is an important value of the program.
    • Sites will actively reach out to students who may not be reached in regular outreach efforts.
    • Rules may be modified or developed to support the developing student-athlete.
    • Team/individual recognitions provided to support life-skills like sportsmanship, integrity, and grit.
  3. Preparation for high school
    • Academic and behavioral tie-ins.
      • To participate in AEF Sports, AEF requires that student-athletes have a 2.0 minimum G.P.A. with no single grade of an 'F' as of the most recent site grading term.  If you have questions about grades or school performance, please contact your school site Athletic Director or Administrator.
  4. Equitable Participation in Sports
AEF follows CIF (CA Interscholastic Federation) and AUSD policies regarding equitable participation in sports. All students are eligible to participate in AEF sports programs regardless of sex or gender. In sex-segregated teams, students may participate consistent with their gender identity.

Player, Parent/Guardian, and Spectator Code of Conduct

In an effort to make our sports program a positive experience for all student-athletes, AEF has established basic Code of Conduct requirements for students, parent/guardians, and spectators. Your school site may have additional requirements. Please be familiar with these and support the positive development of our youth by adhering to these.

2024-2025 Track Season Recap

We’ve reached the finish line of the 2025 Track & Field season and we couldn’t be more proud of our incredible student-athletes! Over 300 students participated this year, bringing fierce competition and excellent sportsmanship attitudes to every meet. A HUGE thank you to all our fabulous coaches and volunteers for supporting the students all season, ensuring a successful and positive time for everyone!

This year's season, as with last year, consisted of 3 "all-comers" meets and one championship meet. The "all-comers" meets offered students the opportunity to try many different events over the course of the season and explore new events they may never have thought to do. Coaches shared that some athletes who tried a new event ended up enjoying it so much they continued competing in it through the championships. Results from the championship are posted here.

Congratulations to all our athletes, we hope you all enjoyed your season as much as we enjoyed watching you shine!

And don't forget to check out the action shots from each meet here: All-Comers #1; All-Comers #2; All-Comers #3; Championships!
