- Grade level indicated refers to the current grade level completed this year (2025-2026).
- We offer Early Bird Pricing until midnight on April 10, 2026. Listed camp prices will increase by $20 on April 11.
- Scholarships are available to qualified AUSD or Alameda public charter school students. To request a scholarship for your student, please click here and fill out the online form. If your student is taking Morning and Afternoon camps they MUST sign up for Lunchtime Supervision.
Breakfast Club
Hours: 7:30 - 8:30 AM

The Breakfast Club is for students participating in AEF morning camps who require supervision before 8:30 AM. Students are not permitted to remain unattended on campus. They must be enrolled in this program to be dropped off at 7:30 AM.

Lunch Bunch
Hours: 12:30 - 1:30 PM

Afternoon Adventure Club
Hours: 12:30 - 5:30 PM

Students will enjoy traditional board games, card games, arts and crafts, sports, and explorations around the campus with AEF Campus Supervisors Miss Frances and Miss Liz. Electronic devices will not be permitted.

All Day Club
For students attending both morning and afternoon camps, you can sign up for all 3 of these programs (Breakfast Club, Lunch Bunch, and The Flip Side) and receive a 20% discount! Students will enjoy summer activities and entertainment with Miss Frances and Miss Liz. Students must bring their own lunch and drink, (snacks will be provided). Note that parents are expected to arrive promptly for pick-up; additional charges of $1 per minute will be incurred for late pickups. Cost for Week 2 (June 22 - 26, 2026): $175

All Spanish Day Camp 'Español Para Crecer'

Join us for a fun and engaging experience as we make a virtual trip to the following Spanish-speaking countries to explore their culture, events, and celebrations through hands-on activities (music, arts and crafts, science, animals, food , and more): Spain and Mexico (June 22), Costa Rica and Colombia (June 30), Perú and Argentina (July 6), and other countries if time allows.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your child comes from a Spanish-speaking country not mentioned above, or even a Non-Spanish Speaking country, please let us know at the time of registration at [email protected], so we can create a PPT presentation to share their culture with their classmates. Our goal is to invite our students’ curiosity, appreciation, and respect, and to create positive local and global connections. The students will start the day with an interactive, comprehensible, and engaging Spanish lesson. They will be exposed BY playing, to vocabulary and expressions that are useful and focused on communication.
Arts and Crafts: Each student will be given a T-shirt each week which we will tie-dye. We will make papier mache alebrijes from Mexico, clay salamanders using the broken tile technique from Barcelona, 'mini piñatas', and we'll be painting Andean traditional motifs, worry dolls, face painting!
STEM activities: Did you know that a single potato can power a small light bulb? That’s right, your favorite food is a mini battery. Campers will be proud to make their own electric circuit and take it home!
Food: Campers will make delicious snacks and beverages typical of the countries of study. We´ll make Horchata de Chufa and Pan Tumaca from Spain, 'Papa a la huancaina' dish from Peru, Guacamole from México and much more. Alfajores from Peru and Argentina will be assembled by sandwiching a layer of dulce de leche between two simple cookies and rolling the edges in shredded coconut.
Music and Instruments: We’ll explore the music and instruments typical of each country. Campers will have an interactive Zoom Salsa, cumbia and Vallenato class with a professional dancer. Campers will make musical instruments with recycled materials, such us castanets from Spain for flamenco.
Start a Band, Make a Record, and Play a Show

Learn to write your own music, including the basics on instruments like guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and vocals, then perform and create album artwork for a release on 3 O’Clock Rock Records! Listen to our new releases at: 3oclockrockrecords.bandcamp.com. Daily Class Structure: Each day students will rotate between 3 stations songwriting, musical instruments, and album artwork. They will work toward creating their own song that rhymes, complete with original music, and album artwork for a release on 3oclockrockrecords.bandcamp.com. Each class will build on the previous class so regular attendance is necessary for a great performance of their song on the last day of class for families and friends.
Chess: Beyond the Basics

This post-beginner/intermediate level summer camp is for those with a solid grasp of chess fundamentals. Potential campers are expected to already know chessboard terminology and square identification; how the various pieces move and capture, plus their relative values; pawn promotion; the crucial concepts of check, checkmate, and stalemate; the special move of castling; opening goals and principles; basic endgame checkmates using major pieces; and last, but not least, good chess etiquette. Potential campers unfamiliar with more than a couple of these essential topics would be better off enrolling in either the AEF/ACC novice/beginner level summer camp, 'Chess: Learn to Play' or the AEF/ACC combination level summer camp 'Chess: Beginner & Intermediate' instead.
AEF/ACC chess camps are a mix time-wise of instruction and supervised play. Instruction at the post-beginner/intermediate level will focus on learning tactics and strategy through the explanation of games and positions from historical players and events, and/or current/recent top-level competitions. The instructor will organize and run a week-long unofficial tournament, with labeled medals as awards for all participants upon completion.
With its nearly 1,500 years of history, chess is arguably the greatest and most popular board game of all time. Numerous studies have suggested that learning and playing chess at an early age can yield various benefits regarding cognitive skills. Confidence, decision-making, and sportsmanship are other areas of potential improvement. The benefits and enjoyment of chess can last a lifetime!
LEGO® Master Builders Jr. Camp

LEGO® Master Builders Jr. Camp is designed for young LEGO® enthusiasts who love creativity, collaboration, and awesome challenges. Writing Interesting Stories: When writers add details to their true stories (non-fiction) they are more interesting. When writers fabricate details, we believe them - and we call it fiction. In this class we will write true and false stories with details, conflict, and lively dialogue that makes it sounds like the characters are really talking. Sometimes we will use pictures or act out stories to make them feel real in our minds before we write them.

Premier Summer Flag Football Camp

Students will learn about the basics of the fast moving game of flag football. The skills of running, jumping, starting, stopping and change of direction will all be incorporated into each class. This is a great fit for students who have played flag football before, are intrigued to learn a new game or want a fresh and fun way to improve their athletic skills. There is no better way to spend an afternoon outside, with friends and getting some exercise.
Sing, Play, Create! Choir Camp

A summer camp that focuses on music! How cool is that? Built with young singers in mind, PEBCC’s Sing, Play, Create! camp helps kids gain musical skills, make friends, and build confidence as they learn to share their voices with the world. If your kid is always singing in the car and around the house, this is the camp for them! Campers will play song games, make crafts, learn basic musicianship skills, and rehearse songs with our wonderful instructor to prepare for a final performance that showcases all they have learned. Families are invited to attend the last 30 minutes on the final day of the camp session to see the show!

This is a wonderful opportunity for campers to develop a love for the game of golf. In this class, campers learn basic techniques of alignment, swing mechanics, golf history, forces of flight as they relate to a golf ball, stretching techniques, and more in a fun, entertaining environment. We will watch demonstrations from top teaching professionals around the world where campers will learn various practice drills. Golf etiquette and the life lessons that golf can teach are paramount in the All Square Golf Academy curriculum. Campers will be outside most of the class, and golf clubs will be provided but students can bring their own if they so choose.
