Multimedia artist, Julie Atkinson created Sometimes I Have Vivid Dreams for the Art Changes program. This painting of a woman on the African Savanna is filled with recuring shapes. Ink and watercolor create a dream-like horizon that is repeated in the textured paper collage that weaves across the bottom of the painting. The art project concentrates on collage to create a landscape that has the depth and texture. Students will need construction paper, scissors and glue sticks.
