Erin Head, Media Center Teacher Librarian at Paden Elementary School, asked for help from AEF's Teacher Mini Grant program to purchase new iPads to help 4th and 5th graders with their popular Paden Pelicasts with student led school announcements and news stories, as well as for use in the schools Makerspace. Because their iPads were so old, they were no longer able to record video, so students were using the teacher's phone to record video, and Ms. Head had to edit video on her phone. The iPads will be available for use for all students and will positively impact at least 320 students.
