Encinal Junior High School math teacher, John Denery's, purchase of 36 calculators and a storage box for his Algebra 1 class was underwritten by AEF's Teacher Mini Grant program in conjunction with our Power Up for Learning grants supporting technology in schools.
Mr. Denery wrote: "My phone collection and calculator distribution has never been better. With the 500 dollars I was able to purchase a class set of calculators. Additionally, I found a box which perfectly fits the calculators and phones. Each student is assigned spot where they keep their phone and calculator. I’m happy to report I have all 36 calculators (this is a first) Thank you very much!"
