Register Now for AEF Summer Camps!

Registration is now open for AEF Summer Camps! Check out our Enrichment Camps – open to all TK – 8 grade students (you don’t have to live in Alameda or attend an Alameda school), with small class sizes and teachers who are specialists in their fields. Your students will learn valuable new skills, be engaged, active, and have FUN! We also offer 50% scholarships for qualified participants.

And AEF is also offering Sports Summer Camps for the first time this year!

Junior Engineer Enrichment Class Jump Starts STEM Learning

One of AEF’s favorite STEM after school enrichment classes in the fall of 2025 was Junior Engineer – described as a hands-on adventure in engineering and space exploration. Kids dove into projects –  like aviation, space science, and engineering. From building models of the solar system to experimenting with compass headings, students learned by doing—building, asking questions, and testing real-world engineering concepts. This year summer camps will be held at Earhart Elementary School (400 Packet Landing Rd, Alameda, CA 94502) and will run from June 16 (no camps June 19 and July 4) through July 11, 2025.

Prices Going Up for Winter Spring Enrichment Classes

Prices are going up by $10 on February 1, 2024! Alameda Education Foundation’s After School Enrichment program offers fun, educational after-school classes. Our programs feature small class sizes and are taught by experts in their fields. Registration for Alameda Wide and other AUSD schools’ registration opened on January 11, 2024. Yoga for students with adaptive needs

Interview with Instructor of Yoga for Students with Adaptive Needs

As a part of our goal to serve as a critical bridge toward equitable and inclusive educational outcomes for Alameda public school students, AEF added classes for students with adaptive needs to our after school enrichment program in the fall of 2022.

Instructor Bernadette Whitman of Shine Yoga Arts was crucial to helping us add these classes. She is one of our most popular instructors, and now offers Yoga for Students with Adaptive Needs .
