AEF College Prep Academy

The Alameda Education Foundation (AEF) is pleased to announce the formation of the AEF College Prep Academy.  “The goal of the academy is to support students who are traditionally underrepresented in college,” said AEF Executive Director Vicki Sedlack.  “We will offer programs such as test prep courses, personal statement workshops, college financial information and more.”  The courses are free or low-cost with scholarships available for qualified students so that no student will be turned away for financial reasons.

Registration for AEF Summer Camps begins March 3rd at 9:30 AM. Camps will be held at the Henry Haight campus, with the exception of the Makers camp at Wood. This summer, we are offering dozens of popular and new camps, including

  • Writing Camps, including Tiny Tales for younger students and a Minecraft themed camp for older students.
  • STEM camps featuring Stop Motion Animation, Claymation and Photoshop.
  • ‘All Sports’ camps in soccer,
