Thank you so much for your generous mini-grant! Here are some photographs that show students engaged with new nonfiction books as we work to improve comprehension when reading nonfiction texts. My favorite project is seen in the photographs with older (4th grade) students working with younger (2nd grade) students as a way to improve literacy for all students as well as promote community throughout the school. It is essential for us to have access to high quality, engaging books as we work with our students. Thank you so much for helping make this work successful.
