Equipped 4 Success

equip students for success

Alameda Education Foundation is committed to making each year as successful as possible for our teachers and students. We want to make sure that everyone is Equipped 4 Success. Going further, we are renewing our commitment to equity in our programs: targeting Title 1 schools, increasing accessibility of mental health services for students and staff, and supporting technology access for students across the Island.

Alameda’s teachers and students are counting on you! Thank you for all the support you can provide.

Teacher Mini Grants

With a focus specifically on need, Teacher Mini Grants provide an opportunity for teachers to apply for items that will benefit their students but that are not covered in the school budget. Many of these grants focus on teachers at Title I schools and special programs, such as Special Ed and English Language Learning. (The Teacher Mini Grant program replaces AEF’s previous Adopt A Classroom program and enables your donation to more effectively reach those most in need). Your donation will allow us to fund teachers' specific requests on a rolling basis. Click here to see how our Mini Grants have helped teachers with specific needs.

Technology Support

AEF is working with community partners to advocate for internet access for all AUSD students. We also underwrite technology tools and hands-on technology related educational opportunities. Learn more here.

Mental Health Care Support

Mental health care services for our students continues to be a high priority, and AEF is committed to continuing to support efforts by sponsoring  Care Solace, to make it easier for students, families, and staff to connect with mental healthcare resources. AEF is also collaborating to provide a full-time on-site clinician at high schools.

School Supplies

Every student should start each year with a new backpack and fresh school supplies. Alameda Education Foundation is committed to making sure that all AUSD students have the supplies they need. (We are not accepting in-kind school supplies for now. This way, we are able to order in bulk and specify the most essential items). The school district anticipates 2,000 Title I students need our support annually. Can you help ensure that all of our students have the fundamental tools for success?
