Mad Machines and Robots! – Grades 3-5 (completed)

The junior Mad Science engineers will design and build structures using simple tools and their imaginations. Campers will even construct a geodesic dome big enough for all the campers to sit inside! Then the machine madness starts…Campers will discover how many different machines, simple and complex, we use in our daily lives. Campers will design simple machines using pulleys, wedges, screws and levers and have fun learning how catapults work…then we move on to fun with the Mad Science robots! Each camper will build robots that they can keep, all the while learning the science of robotics.
