Ruby Bridges Elementary Sweeps Local Robotics Competition
The Ruby Bridges robotics teams show off their trophies from the third annual Alameda Robotics competition, which was held on May 11, 2019 at Wood Middle School. The Robotics competition is a partnership of the Alameda Robotics Center under the director of Wood Middle School teacher Nga Nguyen, Wood Middle School, and the Alameda Education Foundation (AEF).

Haight Elementary School students Christina, Laura and Enna put the finishing touches on their italian marbled paper, which was on display display as part of the Alameda Education Foundation’s “Art Across the Island” project. “Art Across the Island” is a two-year project that will feature visual and literary art produced by Alameda public school students. Artwork can be seen at various venues throughout Alameda from October 2017 – April 2018.
